TPCK - Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge

Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge (TPCK or TPACK for short) is a framework for conceptualizing the various kinds of knowledge needed by a teacher for effective technology Integration. The idea of pedagogical content knowledge was first described by Lee Shulman and TPACK builds on those core ideas through the inclusion of technology. One of the great advantages of TPCK is that it is very easy to comprehend and visualize. The graphic below shows the different types of knowledge addressed by TPACK.
