Conclusion

You might have found it frustrating to limit yourself to applying only one theory of behavioral psychology as you tried to solve your problem. That's understandable. Solving most problems requires a broad understanding and complex application of the theories of educational psychology. But consider what you were able to accomplish armed with only one theory. The principles of educational psychology that you study this semester will help prepare you to look at instructional problems and situations in new and intelligent ways. The more you understand about why students think and act as they do, the better prepared you will be to tackle the challenges you will encounter in the classroom.
