This is a cooperative learning assignment on one of the main learning theories. The first day of class you will sign up to work with a group to create a summary of the theory developed by one of the following theorists:

• Jean Piaget

• Lev Vygotsky

• Howard Gardner

• B.F. Skinner

• Albert Bandura

• Jerome Bruner

• Abraham Maslow

Groups will work together to create a one-page handout using the Theory Capsule Format. Make a copy of this handout for each member of the class.

On your assigned day, the group will be given class time (20 minutes) to present their theory. All group members should participate in some way in the presentation. Make your presentations as creative and engaging as possible.

A PowerPoint slide that visually summarizes the theory will also be due the day of the presentation.
