Handout

Include the following in your one-page (can be front and back) theory capsules:

• Theory (and Theorist's) Name
• Basic Assumption
• Principles of Theory
• Educational Applications or Implications
• Summary (including strengths and weaknesses)
• References.

PowerPoint Slide

• Create one slide to visually summarize the theory.
• Use minimal text.
• Use animations and builds, if you wish, but the final slide should stand on its own and make sense as a static graphic.
• Include a copy of your slide on the back side of your one-page handout.

Presentation

• Make sure there is a balance in the presentation--each person should be responsible for a part or for an interactive presentation.
• Include class involvement of some form.
